The following video is a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. Though some might find it boring or too lengthy for their patience, I was deeply moved by the way these professionals infused the words of this prominent founding document with passion and conviction.

I show this in my Civics class every semester and after the get the stars out of their eyes they become engrossed by the meaning and challenge that it presented to a new country.
