An Inconvenient Truth is one movie that I will recommend to everyone. Al Gore’s research is sound and the inevitable conclusions speak for themselves. This video trailer will NOT begin automatically so please start it using the controls immediately beneath the video window. It’s definitely best viewed with your sound ON.
Our ability to live is what is at stake. –Al Gore

I am with you on the 9/11 stuff, but I have to draw the line at this global warming crap. In the 70’s, all the “experts” were saying we only had so many years to make a change or it was the end for us. The only thing is they were talking about global cooling then.
Al Gore is a fraud and a joke. He uses more fuel criss-crossing the globe to promote his “movie” than we do in our cars. Not to mention his own close ties with the big bad mean oil companies.

Yes, experts make predictions and can be mistaken. That’s rather irrelevant to what today’s science suggests, though, don’t you agree?
To dismiss today’s scientific consensus because of some expert opinions offered 30 years ago seems a bit silly to me. Surely our technological advancements in the past 30 years have something to offer in the matter of global warming; wouldn’t you agree, or at least acknowledge that possibility?
And as for the possibility, I wonder how much of the science that Al Gore refers to in his research and movie you’ve actually investigated for yourself and found to be flawed? Don’t you think the pro-corporatocracy media would just love to break that story?
Mr. Hawks, I do appreciate that you took the time to comment on this post despite our obvious disagreement on the matter. I hope you’ll come back again and share some more of your views, whether we’re likely to agree or not :)
